All of the above-mentioned are part of bhavanā (mental cultivation) which helps practitioners ease suffering by stilling the mind, to take off the veil of delusion and see REALITY AS IT IS.

Merit Offerings for The Dead & Blessings
7 days a week - 9am-12pm (come early to set up the offering and before 11am so the monks can have time to facilitate the chanting and eat the alms food)
Since monks act as conduits for presenting food offerings to deceased friends and loved ones, by presenting and offering food to the monks and a seperate offering for the deceased, the act of merit is recognized by the Devas (Divine beings) and brought to the deceased one’s attention, therefore they can receive the Dānā (gift of giving). Please contact head abbot if you’ve not done one before (contact-us). Please also see the section of (Chanting guides - deceased ones’ offerings) to participate and better facilitate the offering as intended.
