Frequently Asked Questions

  • Trails are open from sunrise to sundown, year-round.

  • These trails can be rated as easy to easy-moderate, based on weather.

These trails are fairly well-marked and maintained by the meditators and monastics of the temple, but due to nearby wetlands, it can have some tricky terrain to get through.

Please stay within the marked areas to avoid going into neighboring properties.

  • We would like to lean towards caution and advise not to have pet dogs on the trails, as coyotes have been spotted year-round and there may be meditators in the forest who may be interrupted.

However we cannot stop you from bringing your pet friend. Using your best judgement, if you decide to bring your pet companion, please keep them on a leash and pickup and dispose-of after them. There is a dumpster near the entrance/exit of the temple grounds.

  • Yes. If you do not have orange, you may borrow our supply of donated blaze-orange gear in the trail’s entrance gift shop.

During hunting season, there are hunters that use the neighboring properties and the Buddhist temple cannot enforce anything outside of its temple grounds.

It is highly advised to please stay on trails for your safety

  • There is a committed meditators community (click on link to go to LLC website) who handle financial resources.

Small items that can be directly re-stocked in the Gift Shop can be donated and received by the monks of the temple.

Larger items and supplies need to go through the meditators community so they may facilitate your generosity on your behalf.
